New AQA A level qualifications (2016)
List of all new AQA A level qualifications that have been accredited for use in Northern Ireland from September 2016 (first teaching).
All the AS and A level qualifications listed below will be de-coupled (AS is a stand-alone qualification that does not contribute to the overall A level grade).
All these qualifications will be linear, meaning all assessments must be taken together at the end of the course.

For all of the qualifications listed below, the AS units will contribute 40% to the overall A Level grade.
It will be possible to re-sit individual units once with the better result counting towards the overall grade.
