Ofqual extraordinary regulatory framework: VTQ, Covid-19 Conditions and Requirements
CCEA Regulation has been working alongside Ofqual to develop the regulatory framework for all vocational and technical qualifications in scope for extraordinary awarding arrangements in summer 2020.
Ofqual published its extraordinary regulatory framework on Friday 22 May. You can access the framework below.
CCEA Regulation is aligning its regulatory approach with this framework as per the Minister for the Economy’s announcement on 23rd April. This will ensure parity for learners taking qualifications in NI with those learners in England and Wales, and also for those candidates taking NI specific qualifications. CCEA Regulation will continue to work with awarding organisations to monitor the implementation of alternative summer 2020 awarding arrangements to ensure these align with the new framework.
