Republic of Ireland Applications

The Central Applications Office (CAO) processes applications for undergraduate courses in Irish Universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Decisions on admissions to undergraduate courses are made by the HEIs who instruct CAO to make offers to successful candidates.

As fewer Northern Irish students apply via CAO than UCAS, many Northern Irish teachers and students lack familiarity with the CAO process. This presentation, tailored for Northern Irish students, really helps to make it all clear.

Visit the CAO website for a wealth of information on course requirements and applications details – it is easy to register as a first step.
