Ofqual Awarding Approach

Today, September 29, The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and Qualifications Wales (QW) outlined their approaches to awarding grades for summer 2023 GCSE and GCE qualifications regulated by each of these organisations.

In order to support learners, CCEA has put in place Advance Information for the majority of CCEA GCSE and GCE subjects. In addition, CCEA is working closely with the Department of Education regarding the approach for its CCEA GCSE and GCE qualifications in summer 2023. Once the approach to awarding has been agreed, CCEA will provide further updates and information.
