The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) is delighted to welcome Nathan Wardlow as its 2022 Boardroom Apprentice. This is the second year CCEA has participated in Boardroom Apprentice, a 12-month board learning, development and placement programme.

Tommy O’Reilly, Chairperson of CCEA, commented:

I’m delighted to welcome Nathan to CCEA as this year’s Boardroom Apprentice. This programme is a unique opportunity for us to engage with a diverse pool of apprentices who bring a range of skills and new perspectives to our work. We look forward to working with Nathan and supporting him as he grows into this role and develops his skills for future boards.

Speaking about joining CCEA, Nathan said:

I'm very pleased to have been selected as a Boardroom Apprentice and placed with CCEA. I’m looking forward to the year ahead, sitting alongside the other Council members and seeing first-hand the important work that CCEA puts in place to support students and teachers across Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for me to share my experience, alongside gaining as much knowledge and insight as I can into public sector governance.
