Ofqual Announcements on Summer 2022
Announcements have been made by Ofqual today (30 September) in relation to the GCSE AS/A level qualifications it regulates. These cover adaptations for summer 2022 and apply to AQA, Eduqas, OCR and Pearson qualifications, even if taken in Northern Ireland.
CCEA had already published its adaptations for schools and learners on 27 May 2021 and details on these can be found at ccea.org.uk/summer-2022 (no longer available).
CCEA is working on developing an approach to standards for summer 2022 which will meet the needs of Northern Ireland learners and be mindful of the need for comparability. We will shortly provide the Department of Education with advice on this matter.
