GCSE electronic copies of results for the March 2018 examination series will be available for centres to download from the A2C Migration Application on Wednesday 11 April 2018.

The results are for release to candidates on Thursday 12 April 2018.

Centres must adhere to the JCQ Instructions in relation to release of results:

The results are issued on the strict understanding that the results files and their contents remain entirely confidential to the Head of Centre, examinations office staff and those teaching staff within the centre or the consortium that, in the opinion of the head of centre, need to be made aware of the information.

The results, or information derived from results, must not be divulged to or discussed with:

  • other teachers
  • candidates or parents
  • educational institutions and Local Authorities
  • any other persons

Results data must not be shared more widely until after the candidates have received their results (please refer to the JCQ Notice to Centres – release of general qualification results – June 2017 examinations for full details).

Centres should note that results are issued on a provisional basis and may be subject to amendment through the published Enquiries about Results services.

Candidate statements of provisional results are not certificates. An awarding organisation reserves the right to amend examination results prior to the issue of certificates.

Online Access to Results

GCSE Statement of Results and related results reports can be downloaded from the E-Statements Online Application by logging in through Central Log-in.

The E-Statements application will be available from 00:01 hours on Wednesday 11 April 2018 to download GCSE E-Statements, Modular Marks reports and Consolidated Grades reports for distribution to candidates on Thursday 12 April 2018.

Please note that access to candidate results through E-Statements is subject to the same arrangements as hard copy results and results received via SIMs, as per JCQ regulations.

Hard Copy Results

If your centre opted to receive hard copy results, these will be sent to arrive with centres by Wednesday 11 April 2018, for distribution to candidates on Thursday 12 April 2018.
