JCQ Examiner Recognition Award

Over 1820 local teachers from all across Northern Ireland received certificates from CCEA as a result of a new JCQ initiative which recognises the sustained contribution teachers have made to the examining and moderating of exams

Over 1820 local teachers from all across Northern Ireland received certificates from CCEA as a result of a new JCQ initiative which recognises the sustained contribution teachers have made to the examining and moderating of exams.

The JCQ Award celebrated all those - as of summer 2017 - who had served as examiners for 3 or more consecutive years with the same awarding body.

Justin Edwards, CCEA's Chief executive commented:

"At CCEA we value the input of teachers into our examination process. This recognition award provides an opportunity to reward those with over 3 years dedication to the examination service. This is our first year of this award and we hope to be able to recognise 5 and 10 years continuous examination service in future years."
