As homelessness continues to be a significant challenge in Northern Ireland, it is vitally important to raise awareness of the issues that can trigger homelessness. It is also essential to ensure that the range of organisations providing both preventative and emergency support are clearly signposted.

The activities in Finding your Way will support you to develop pupils’ knowledge and understanding of:

• homelessness issues;
• the triggers that can lead to homelessness; and
• the support, advice and information that statutory organisations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) provide.
