Supporting Shared Education
Shared Education supports children and young people from different communities to learn together in school partnerships on a regular basis. Its aim is to improve educational and community reconciliation outcomes in Northern Ireland.
All areas of the Northern Ireland Curriculum can support shared activities and help meet this aim. Visit the primary or post-primary page for guidance and links to relevant CCEA resources.
This web area also includes links to qualifications and examples of Shared Education practice to support school partnerships in providing pupils with engaging learning opportunities.
Our guidance complements the Pupil Pathway for Shared Education, which was developed by the Education Authority in collaboration with other organisations including CCEA.
