Working with the Wind
Pupils learn that renewable sources of energy are becoming increasingly important, both in the environment and in the economy. The focus of this resource is wind energy. Pupils analyse the factors that need to be taken into account when deciding on a site for a wind farm. There are also opportunities for pupils to explore the social issues that relate to the location of renewable energy sites such as noise pollution.
