Using Mathematics: Classroom Activities

Mathematics and Numeracy: Classroom Activities

Processes are at the heart of every activity in the Mathematics and Numeracy curriculum as children plan, discuss their thinking, listen to others’ ideas, record their findings, choose materials and approaches, problem solve and develop mathematical language.

In response to feedback from teachers, CCEA has extracted the maths activities from our existing booklets so that teachers can easily see what is available to them. They are grouped into how Processes are developed through Number, Shape and Space, Measures and Handling Data.
