Learning for Life and Work Guidance
Throughout Key Stage 4, pupils should:
- take increasing responsibility for their own learning; and
- actively demonstrate the skills and capabilities they have already acquired from the previous key stages.
This will deepen and widen their experiences and understanding of the three strands within this Area of Learning.
It’s essential that teachers ensure that they sustain and build on the good practice that pupils have experienced at Key Stage 3, allowing them to gain further high-quality Learning for Life and Work experiences at Key Stage 4.
