While schools in Northern Ireland are closed to most pupils, this list of resources may be helpful for schools and parents/carers of primary pupils at home.
The Northern Ireland Curriculum – Primary describes the types of learning that are most appropriate for each key stage. In school, pupils in the Foundation Stage (Years 1 and 2) learn through well-planned, challenging play that develops their interests, curiosity and creativity. CCEA resources for the Foundation Stage focus on how teachers can provide these types of experiences. Most CCEA materials are designed for teachers delivering the Northern Ireland Curriculum in schools, including the ones listed below. However, we have selected these resources as they include many activities that can be adapted to use at home with pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2.
