Home Learning

While schools in Northern Ireland are closed to most pupils, this list of resources may be helpful for schools and parents/carers of pupils at home.

Most CCEA materials are designed for teachers delivering the Northern Ireland Curriculum in schools, including the ones listed below. However, we have selected these resources as they include many activities that can be adapted to use at home with pupils in primary, post-primary, Irish-medium schools and with learners with SEN.

The Northern Ireland Curriculum

The Northern Ireland Curriculum was introduced in 2007 and covers all 12 years of compulsory education. It's a curriculum that focuses on the learning process and learners' needs, as well as their knowledge, understanding and skills.
