This programme has six core modules covering the themes below. Each module has a lesson plan, video clip, presentation and Skills and Activity Cards in English and Irish. These resources provide step-by-step guidance on how to respond to the different medical emergencies we may encounter. The information and techniques in these modules are evidence based. The Resuscitation Council UK, who set the standard for resuscitation, supports these approaches. The lesson plans provide a suggested structure for learning, including learning outcomes, teaching notes and ideas for extension and cross-curricular links. Use the introductory module before beginning the core modules to help familiarise pupils with the structure and themes of the programme.
