Coding with micro:bit
Additional Support for NI Schools
The Creative Learning Centres
Northern Ireland's CLCs provide regional support for schools and training opportunities for teachers to empower them to embed the creative use of technologies to support teaching and learning across the curriculum. We are funded by the Department for Communities and managed by NI Screen.
We are proud to support the new BBC Micro:Bit initiative as key training partners for 2023/24. The CLCs have trained hundreds of teachers and young people in the use of micro:bit in Northern Ireland. In a collaborative effort with micro:bit Educational Foundation, we will continue to offer Teacher Professional Learning (TPL) sessions both online and in person, sharing the transformative potential of these small, yet powerful devices.
