Professional Associates with CCEA
On this page
Do you have experience working within the education sector?
CCEA maintains a list of Professional Associates who will be eligible to provide ad hoc support for specific projects during critical business periods every year.
Areas of work can include:
- support for primary and post-primary schools
- development of online resources
- various research projects
- translation for Irish Medium
- support for CCEA Regulation
- support for Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is an ideal opportunity for teachers and other professionals to earn extra income and be at the heart of educational development.
As a Professional Associate, you will:
- carry out most of the work in your own time, using your own resources
- attend meetings as required – we can accommodate remote working
- be fully briefed, trained and supported
- receive a professional fee.
Registration
We retain our standing list of Professional Associates for two years. Registration is open from September to the end of June each year.
To register on the link below, you will need to provide some personal details and select your educational areas of interest. These include Early Years, Key Stage 1–4, Qualifications, CCEA Regulation and SEN.
We welcome registrations from outside of Northern Ireland. However, you must have a UK bank account and National Insurance number.
We also particularly welcome registrations from the Irish-medium sector, as we have a great demand for Professional Associates who can translate during the busy examination periods.
Professional Associates can apply for contracts by responding to trawls that Human Resources sends to personal email addresses which highlight details of the specific work required.
