The CCEA General Conditions of Recognition set out clearly and fully the regulatory requirements of recognised awarding organisations. CCEA Regulation believes that these conditions ‘speak for themselves’. Therefore at this stage supporting guidance will not be published.
CCEA Regulation recognises organisations to award qualifications in Northern Ireland. As the CCEA General Conditions of Recognition were developed, all the regulatory requirements that were in place before the CCEA General Conditions of Recognition came into force were reviewed and rationalised where appropriate.
Some previous regulatory documents have ceased to exist while elements of others continue to apply, in full or in part. These are set out in the list below.
