The Vision – edition 2 delivered to schools

The latest edition of The Vision magazine has recently been delivered to all post-primary schools. Full of helpful updates on The ReVision of specifications, The Vision magazine includes an interview that sheds light on our innovative approach to support, an introduction to our new A Level Life and Health Sciences plus updates on GCSE specifications.

The magazine, sent to over 300 schools, has an in-depth Q&A session with CCEA Programme Manager for The ReVision support programme, Danny Lambe. Danny shares how we are supporting teachers in the delivery of revised qualifications and what’s new for 2016.

This latest edition also includes updates on several A levels as well as introducing readers to a new CCEA A Level Life and Health Sciences. Gavin Gray, Subject Officer, outlines how this new qualification meets the requirements of the Life and Science industry which is worth about £800m a year. Gavin comments that,

'The new Life and Health Science qualification was developed in partnership with industry and covers a range of science disciplines. This applied science subject will be available for first teaching in September 2016 and will equip students for a career in the Life and Health Science sector.'
