Assessment Arrangements 2012/13: Clarification for Primary Schools

RE: This communication is intended to provide clarification in response to recent queries which primary schools have raised with CCEA.

These include:

'My school is not participating in voluntary moderation this year. What are we required to do?'

'Are schools required to use CCEA assessment tasks?'

'My school is not participating in voluntary moderation this year. Do we still have to submit our outcomes by 15 March?'

'What level do we report by 15 March?'

'What is the guidance around awarding Level 5 at the end of Key Stage 2 (and Level 3 at the end of Key Stage 1)?'
